Arantza Fahnbulleh's Insane Boyfriend Application Will Make You Wish You Thought Of It First

Single? Looking for a relationship this cuffing season? Well, there are a few things you can do. You can start reloading those dating apps and updating your profile with silly bios and sexy pics. You can hit the bars and get your flirt on. You can reach out to exes with suggestive late-night text messages. You can give in and let your mom finally set you up with her weird, new neighbor who somehow always smells vaguely like cats. OR… you can take a page out of one comedian's book and create your very own “daddy application.” Yes, Arantza Fahnbulleh's boyfriend application has taken the internet by storm after she posted screenshots of it on Twitter. And let's just say, Arantza Fahnbulleh knows what she's doing.

Fahnbulleh, a comedian, actress, and writer, is single for the first time in a while, and she's not messing around this cuffing season. No, instead, she's decided to grab her romantic destiny by the horns and create her own “Daddy Application” for potential boyfriends to be reviewed by her and her board of advisors, AKA her friends. If your curious about what “daddy” means to Fahnbulleh, she provides Elite Daily with her own explanation:

A daddy doesn't just have the qualities you want, he has the ones you NEED.

I'm redefining the definition of a daddy. A daddy or a zaaaaaaaaaady is much more than just a boyfriend or a bae. Daddy's can teach you something! You can learn something from yo daddy. A daddy helps you. Daddies are always there to support, encourage, and challenge you to be your best.

It's not about age either. When I say daddy, I don't want people to imagine me sitting next to a senior citizen like Anna Nicole.

Yo daddy wants you to win! Yo daddy wanna see you shine! That's why he's your daddy.

It has nothing to do with finances. It's all about emotional and mental stability, but a good income is a plus.

And most importantly, yo daddy can never leave you, and if he does, then he's not yo daddy!!

Like any savvy business woman, before she made the application available to the public via her social media accounts, Fahnbulleh took some time to generate hype by releasing a video announcing her newfound singlehood. She jokesd to Elite Daily, “A rare moment in history was taking place — I became single, and I felt like I needed to break the news first before the world got notified.”

Watch the video for yourself here:

Basically, the genesis of her video came from a guy who just wasn't taking the reigns when it came to their relationship. “There was a guy that I liked, and he wasn't making the appropriate moves, and I was talking to my friends,” she explained. “I was like, ‘Girl, I'M SINGLE, like he needs to seize this muthaf*ckin opportunity, da f*ck.'” So naturally, she had to post a video announcing her singlehood.

If you couldn't give it a listen, here are some of my favorite highlights. First and foremost, she makes it clear that these applications will be reviewed extensively: “Me and my b*tches will be reviewing all of the applications.”

She also makes clear her mandatory requirement: “Make sure you single. Now, you might ask, what is single? Let me break it down for you. If you have a baby mama, you not single. If you have a b*tch you've been f*cking for six months, you not single. If you have a wife, YOU DEFINITELY NOT SINGLE.”

After making her intentions clear, she went live with the application.

Here's a closeup of the extensive form:

Needless to say, the application was a success.

“There have been about 500 applicants, and around 200 have filled out the form. It's been a mixed bag … It's been a 50/50 situation,” she tells Elite Daily.

But more importantly, Fahnbulleh is happy for other women she might be inspiring to find their very own daddies. “I'm truly humbled,” she explains. “It's such an honor to help all the young ladies of the world to find their true daddies. “

So is she actually considering any applications?

She tells Elite Daily of her scrutinizing application review process:

This daddy position is very serious. Like any top company, we wouldn't want to waste anyone's time. Everyone who meets our requirements is being considered! These daddy applications are like having my own personalized Tinder. I don't even have to swipe right anymore!

Most of all, she's grateful for the warm reception her application has gotten on the internet. “I genuinely appreciate all the retweets, reposts, likes, and comments,” she explains. “I hope everyone has a safe and successful cuffing season!”

Cheers to a successful cuffing season, everyone!
