8 Things You Don't Realize About The Girl You Think Is 'Forever Single'

Ever since we were little girls, we've been hooked on the classics.

We admired Cinderella, Belle, Snow White, Jasmine and Sleeping Beauty. We gazed at the TV screen, thinking the normal thing to do in the future was to grow up, go to college, get our career going and meet the perfect guy… and eventually, when we are ready, get married.

And that's a beautiful plan for many of us. But life is different for everyone.

We all have choices, and life has a way of happening sometimes in ways we might not have planned.

Some girls give up trying to find the right guy because the choices out there are far from their expectations. Others have had their hearts broken and are afraid to take a risk at love.

There are many reasons why a gal can be called “forever single,” but hey — don't be too quick to judge.

Forever single girls don't make having a boyfriend their number one priority at all. A relationship may not even make it onto their list of “Top 10 Important AF Priorities.”

She may like to date, but she won't want to commit.

She has her reasons, and definitely exudes many of these extraordinary qualities.

1. She's confident in her decisions and really DGAF what you or anyone else thinks.

She is not a settler. She has the patience to wait until she meets someone spectacular, who has all (or most) of the qualities she's looking for.

She knows her Prince Charming is chilling out there somewhere. Someday, she'll meet him.

2. She's cautious in her ways.

She knows her heart is one of her most prized possessions, and she will not give it to someone before she's ready.

3. She has an incredible sense of self.

She knows exactly who she is, and she's not afraid to walk her walk and talk her talk as a single woman for the time being... or however long it may take.

4. She embraces determination at its finest.

She knows what she wants in life, and you can be sure she will achieve it.

5. She thrives in her career and is goal-oriented.

She's not basing her life on a boyfriend, husband or marriage.

She's fully content with what she has and the life she's made for herself. She's a boss career woman, and she wants to succeed.

6. She lives life to the fullest.

This gal has a bucket list, and she's not waiting around for her soulmate in order to start checking things off.

She's all about spontaneity, with or without a significant other. She does this because it's what she wants – and loves – to do.

7. She has an optimistic perspective on life.

She possibly didn't plan on being single at this point in her life, but she completely embraces it.

She positively appreciates this is the time for her to grow and thrive as a person, working up to the best version of herself that she can possibly be.

8. She knows the benefits of being patient.

She obviously realizes how much of a virtue patience is. Waiting to achieve certain things in life can be difficult, but she knows her patience will make everything worth it in the end.

I don't know about you, but I'm kind of loving this girl. And in many ways, I relate to this girl.

When all is said and done, maybe she isn't totally “forever single.” But maybe she is the woman in all of us: the one who's just being patient and living life as she should, until the right guy comes along.
