Men Reveal Exactly How To Get Your Crush’s Attention And It’s Easier Than You Think

by Candice Jalili

So you've had a crush on this guy for a while, and you're still a little unclear as to whether or not he knows you're alive.

HOW are you supposed to get his attention?

Obviously, you're aiming for more than just him acknowledging your existence. You're aiming to hopefully create a ~romantic~ connection with him.

Well, I'M HERE TO TELL YOU HOW. Just kidding, I have no game in this realm. Me trying to get my crush's intention involves drinking excessively and then maybe sending a weird text. And after all that, I'd probably still be too shy to say hi in person.

But there are some dudes on Reddit who might be able to help you out.

A recent thread asked men how women can get their crushes' attention, and while some of their tips are weird, most of the them are pretty easy. Read along and try them out!

Add a wink.

Give him a playful hug.

Even better? Just smile.

Laugh at him.

Call him before bed.

Take interest in what he likes.

Flash him when no one is looking. (Editor's note: I included this as a joke. Please don't do this.)

Or, just be yourself — plain and simple.

If you take anything from all of this, I hope it's just to BE YOURSELF.

Sure, you can smile and make eye contact when you're doing it, but I promise, nothing is more attractive than a person who can fully be themselves, without having to worry about whether or not someone will like you.

I mean, just looking at the above responses, the best ones were all some variation of being yourself.

The WORST case scenario is that you won't click with the guy you like after you let him see your true colors. Then, you just have to keep being yourself until you DO meet someone who appreciates you for who you really are.

The absolute worst thing you can do is be fake. Chances are, your crush will see right through it and automatically get turned off.

On the off chance he doesn't see through it and manages to like this fake version of you, you'll be stuck playing this role forever. And is that really worth it?
