Surrounding Yourself With Men Makes You A Better Woman

There are few greater feelings than seeing the results of your hard work and dedication come to fruition. Any smart entrepreneur knows that the path to greatness involves constant self-improvement. We girls have done a fairly good job of making it on our own, but let’s give credit where credit is due: men have set the standard for every majorly successful woman there ever was.

In order to be the best woman you can be, you need to start taking notes from the guys. In the relatively short time I’ve been pursuing the life of an entrepreneur, I have come to realize that for every hard working woman I meet, there is a man who works twice as hard as she.

This is not to say that there are not women out there who are just as beast as the top male entrepreneurs, but they are few and far between. The reality is if we want to keep up with, or surpass the boys, then we are going to have to start thinking like them.

The best businessmen don’t have time for drama and emotions. They know better than to get caught up in issues outside of their goals and could care less about what other people think. The more women you have around, the more unnecessary problems there tend to be, what with the way we like to gossip and just be all-around haters like we tend to be.

A real man goes after what he wants and is aggressive in doing so. By surrounding myself with men, I have noticed a great increase in my productivity. Picking up their good habits, I am much more focused and results driven. By immersing yourself in the deep end of the pool with the big dogs, you develop a thick skin and a quick wit.

Forget about being comfortable with the girls and start challenging yourself by emulating the best men in your life. Take the habits and skills you learn from them and seek to improve them in yourself.

Ladies, you can certainly have the same power and position as Donald Trump or Bill Gates (without having to sleep with anyone at the office!) but do not look to your old manager, Becky from when you used to work at Bath & Bodyworks to become that. You will only be the greatest woman when you can be an even better man.
