Millennials And Sex: Weed Smokers Have Better, More Active Sex Lives

Before going to college, I'd never smoked weed. I knew people who did, but my friends and I were too angelic and straight-edged to ever be around them, let alone actually try it ourselves.

But when I got to college, my new boyfriend smoked weed, my new friends smoked weed, and every person I came in contact with, befriended, and ended up loving the company of smoked weed. I figured there must be something I was missing about this whole weed thing.

Although I never really got super into it (I tried it a handful of times, and it gave me anxiety approximately every time), everyone (including me) is starting to understand all the good that weed can do: It can be used as a beauty product, reduce nightmares, help with seizures and fight cancer.

Fourteen percent of people who smoke weed every day reported having sex "several times per day," compared with 5 percent of those who have never smoked.

Thirty-seven percent of daily weed smokers have had 15 or more sexual partners, compared with 14 percent of those who have never smoked.

Eighty percent of daily weed smokers reported having a one-night stand, compared with 52 percent of those who have never smoked.
