Fresh off the announcement of their second season, the cast of Netflix's "13 Reasons Why" made their first award show debut at the MTV Movie Awards.

The cast, which includes Katherine Langford, Dylan Minnette, Christian Navarro, Alisha Boe, Ross Butler, Miles Heizer, Brandon Flynn, Tommy Dorfman, Devin Druid, Justin Prentice, Brandon Larracuente, Michele Selene Ang, Steven Silver, and Ajiona Alexus, stole the show at tonight's MTV Movie Awards red carpet.

The cast showed up looking like the 20-somethings they are as opposed to the high schoolers they portray on TV.

While fans have been speculating about the possibility of a second season since Season 1 hit Netflix in March, Selena Gomez officially confirmed the good news earlier on Sunday ahead of the MTV Movie & TV Awards.

Selena, who is an executive producer on the show, shared this video clip announcing Season 2 with the caption,

Their story isn't over. Season 2 of #13ReasonsWhy is coming.

Fan theories surrounding the show have taken over the internet over the past two months, but hopefully, with Season 2 officially announced, we'll all start sleeping a little easier at night.

The actor who plays Alex, Miles Heizer, shut down one of the theories surrounding his character on Sunday. In response to the theory stating Tyler actually shot Alex, Miles pointed out that Alex showed countless signs of suicide throughout the series.

He said,

It was interesting to see similarities between Alex and Hannah, because there are a lot of warning signs throughout the season.

I definitely recommend re-watching the first season while you bide your time waiting for Season 2.
