The last installment of Adam Scott’s “Greatest Event in Television History” series aired last night on Adult Swim.

The series was made up of frame-for-frame reenactments of the opening credits to 80s sitcoms. I mean, come on, if that’s not epic, I don’t know what is.

The sitcoms included in the mockery were “Simon & Simon,” “Hart to Hart” and “Too Close for Comfort.”

However, the most epic of them all was last night, when Scott teamed up with funny pal, Paul Rudd, to reenact the drag sitcom, “Bosom Buddies,” originally a show starring Tom Hanks and Peter Scolari.

The show is about two friends who must disguise themselves as women to live in an all-women apartment building because it is the only one they can afford.

If that isn’t funny enough, the opening is about the cheesiest thing you’ve ever seen. This opener was made to be reenacted by Paul Rudd and Adam Scott.

And for those of you not that familiar with the show, you can now watch both openers side by side. It is amazing that  this show ever existed, and it is also sad that we would’ve never known about it, had it not been for Adam Scott.
