If you were a fan of the Disney Channel's "Even Stevens" growing up, chances are Beans was one of your favorite characters.

Beans was the lovable neighbor boy who was obsessed with bacon.

The show ran from 2000 to 2003 and had about 65 episodes and a movie.

Shia LaBeouf was the main thing to come out of "Even Stevens," and we all know how he turned out.

But, the actor who played Beans is still around, and he sat down with HuffPo Entertainment to talk about his experiences on the show.

His name is Steven Anthony Lawrence and he is 24 years old now. This is what he looks like:

Lawrence has been in a few movies and commercials since the show ended, but he's currently focusing on teaching in the Los Angeles area.

He also mentioned people still recognize him from time to time.

Lawrence said,

It's really weird. I feel like I've changed so much when I look in the mirror. I don't know how people even barely recognize me. But I'll be walking down the street and people drive by for two seconds and automatically they'll go, 'Oh, my God! You're Beans! Ahhh!' God, even I would have to at least do a double-take.

Lawrence also spoke about his co-star, LaBeouf. He said he knew Shia would be a big star one day and he's actually a super generous and kind person. Lawrence said,

I remember one year the first original Xbox came out. And, you know, money was a little tight that year. So Shia took it upon himself to buy me one.

As for Beans' bacon obsession, Lawrence said he loves bacon but couldn't eat it for two years after the show wrapped because of how much bacon he consumed over the course of the show.
