Of course, no look is complete without a completed beauty look. Hair and makeup make an outfit, so it’s very important to also recognize those who excelled in their beauty regimen pre-Grammy’s.

Here are my four favorite hair and makeup looks of the Grammy’s last night:

Rihanna

Rihanna has been in an edgy phase, if you will. She’s usually daring in her hair and makeup, and this time, it was refreshing to see her natural beauty accentuated by classic waves and a red lip. She really doesn’t need any makeup at all, there’s no denying that Rihanna is beautiful.

Jennifer Lopez

Although the bottom half of her look was awful (ugh, I really wish you didn’t choose that dress), J.Lo is one of the few women who can pull off the taut pulled back top knot. Her cheekbones are the product of a genetic lottery and her eye makeup had a 1960’s vibe.

Katy Perry

I didn’t know how I felt about Katy Perry’s complete look (was the dress okay or no?) but there’s no denying that this girl is a beauty. It was a pleasant surprise to see Katy sans hot pink wig and crazy makeup, and her natural eye makeup would be great for every day wear.

Beyoncé

The Queen herself shocked everyone by showing up in a pantsuit, but it was the best decision she could have ever made. Beyonce looked incredible and her colorblocked top portion of her pantsuit was best served with a low ponytail and classic makeup. She killed it.

Which one of these looks was your favorite?

Ally is a preppy tomboy who loves all things football and fashion. She's a housewife in training and is known as the highly opinionated, and sometimes rude, first woman of Elite Daily. Be prepared to always be caught off guard.

With the release of her new memoir, “Hard Choices,” Hillary Clinton hit the press circuit yesterday to share her thoughts on her career and life thus far. The book has already unleashed the haters; some have labeled its release as an attempt at “rebranding,” while others deride her for “playing it safe” and being “big […]

When you’re working construction, there are a few important guidelines that you want to follow in order to guarantee that you don’t end up getting crushed by a pile of cinder blocks. While OSHA regulations might guarantee employees’ safety, I doubt you’d be able to find someone who would describe them as “metal.” This clip, […]
