Britney Spears Dropped Her 'Make Me' Music Video And We Have Some Questions
"OH MY GOD THE NEW BRITNEY VIDEO IS OUT I CAN'T WAIT TO – wait, what the fuck?"
That is a reenactment of my reaction to the music video that just dropped for Britney Spears' new single "Make Me" ft. G-Eazy.
Listen, I'm not trying to diss the song. The song, which Britney released on Apple Music three weeks ago, is actually pretty bangin'.
And I'm still counting down the days until her album Glory goes on sale on August 26.
But this video just left me with so many questions. Like, SO many questions.
Let's dive in, shall we?
Why is this team of women (and Britney) interviewing this generic handsome man?
Are there seriously two separate shots that are literally just a commercial playing on a television screen?
Like damn, Britney, get your paper, but maybe you could be more subtle about it?
Why are Britney and her squad judging these men on their musical abilities?
Are they putting together a talent show? Is this a reenactment of "America's Got Talent"?
Wait, now they are stripping and dancing?!
Britney, is this your audition for "Magic Mike 3"?
Who is this small, enthusiastic man and why do they all love him so much?
OK, Britney, are you just straight up having sex with this dude now?
AND ARE YOUR FRIENDS/PRODUCERS JUST STRAIGHT UP WATCHING YOU HAVE SEX?!
Britney, I love you, but this video is wack.
I guess we can look forward to a pretty crazy surprise performance at the VMAs this month (probably)!
