After the highest number of votes in the show’s history, country singer Cassadee Pope was crowned ‘The Voice’. The youngest, and only female contestant left, Cassadee had impressed judges with her remarkable range and ability to inject emotion into her songs.

The Florida resident, who was tutored by Blake Shelton, hardly had time to run through a list of thanks at the end of the 1.5-hour live show.

‘I feel amazing,’ yelled Cassadee, who made it through 64 contestants and months of heats to become the winner.

‘Thank you to everyone who voted for me, fans, Blake and the producers, wardrobe hair and make up, Carson, the band, Christina, everybody, seriously, it’s been so great,’ she added with tears in her eyes.

When “The Sopranos” ended in 2007 on a now-famous shot of its patriarch, Tony Soprano, sitting in a diner with his family, viewers cried foul.
