50 Cent Serves Thanksgiving Meals To Hurricane Sandy Victims

50 Cent partnered with Feeding America, the Food Network, and SMS Audio earlier this afternoon to serve Thanksgiving meals to Hurricane Sandy victims and other New Yorkers suffering from hunger at the “Our Table Is Yours” event held at Cipriani Restaurant in Manhattan.

In this MTV News video, 50 explains that it’s not only Sandy victims that are in need of food in New York, saying, “One in six Americans are actually going hungry.

You got kids that’s surviving based on their school lunch and more than one out of five kids are experiencing hunger.”

He also talks about the Thanksgiving food served at his grandmother’s house, saying, “Sometimes [my grandmother] allow my aunts and uncles to bring food there and I can tell when she didn’t do it. It doesn’t taste the same.”
