It’s clear that marriage agrees with Alec Baldwin – at least the second time round. The 54-year-old looked younger than his years as he posed with his new wife Hilaria yesterday at an evening benefit.

He was obviously still in the honeymoon phase as he hugged his wife of a month. At 26 years Alec’s junior, 28-year-old Hilaria is perhaps responsible for Alec’s youthful smile.

The slender brunette showed off her long limbs in an elegant grey cowl necked jersey dress, which she teamed with nude platforms and a pair of designer sunglasses.

She is the second wife for Alec, whose nine-year-marriage to Kim Basinger ended acrimoniously in 2002, but gave him a much-loved daughter, Ireland.

The lovebirds tied the knot last month during an intimate ceremony in front of 175 guests, including Alec’s 30 Rock co-star Tina Fey and Woody Allen.

Alec told Hello! Magazine: ‘Marriage was made for you to make a commitment to someone who is worth it, and I met someone who is worth it.’
