She has a long list of offenses behind the wheel. And even after having her license suspended earlier this year, Amanda Bynes has still refused to stop driving. But today there was finally an intervention when police pulled her over and had her black BMW impounded.

According to law enforcement insiders who told TMZ, the former Nickelodeon star was stopped by police this morning at around 9.00am in the Burbank area.

When they ran her license and found it to be suspended, they promptly impounded the actress’s black car. Bynes was also given a misdemeanor ticket for the offense.

It is the second time this month the 26-year-old has been pulled over for driving with a suspended license. The first time was on September 9, but she was let off with a verbal warning by police. The new move comes after the troubled actress reportedly had another car accident on Thursday night.

It is believed the former child star was attempting to cover her face while driving her black BMW, according to TMZ, as she drove out of a parking lot on Sunset Boulevard in Los Angeles. Amanda then ‘tapped the bumper of a white car in front of her’ before driving off.

The star was seen with a patterned scarf over her head, covering a large portion of her face which was further hidden by a pair of shades despite it being pitch black outside.

Her suspended driving license is thought to have stemmed from when she refused to give a sobriety test following an arrest in April for a DUI misdemeanor after sideswiping a police car.

Amanda was later charged for the DUI on June 5, and will appear in court later this month.

Rihanna Scores Lead Role In First 3D-Animated Film Starring Black Heroine

It’s pretty sad that in 2014, no major Hollywood studio has released a 3D-animated movie starring a black protagonist. But all that is set to change (it’s about time) with a soon-to-be released film, “Home.” DreamWorks Animation Studios will finally include a black female as the animated movie’s heroine, adding her to the ranks of […]

The Difference Between What You Call An Experience And What You Call A Mistake

Experience. The most brutal of teachers and the most honest of friends. The best lessons in the classroom of life and the hardest pills to swallow. Many say it’s the collection of your experiences that defines you and I’ve always wondered why mistakes aren’t included in that definition. Isn’t “mistake” just a harsh word for […]
