She has so far been charged with a DUI and has been involved in two hit-and-runs in a matter of months. And despite her recent erratic behavior and friends and families voicing their serious concern, the actress insists that she is just fine.

In fact the 26-year-old former Nickelodeon star has told People magazine in a bizarre new interview that she is ‘amazing’, and claims that her charges related to her DUI are ‘false’.

‘I am doing amazing,’ she told the publication.

‘I am retired as an actor. I am moving to New York to launch my career. I am going to do a fashion line. I am not talking about being arrested for DUI because I don’t drink, and I don’t drink and drive. It is all false.’

Friends of the actress have meanwhile told the magazine that it is not unusual for Amanda to plead innocence, and believe that she’s in denial.

‘People around Amanda are really concerned about her,’ a source said. ‘She tells people she doesn’t party or drink. She doesn’t realize she has a problem.’

On Tuesday night the actress reportedly displayed even more erratic behavior during a spin class at Equinox gym in West Hollywood.

‘Amanda stopped to take her T-shirt off, revealing only a tiny, black, strapless push-up bra – not a sports bra,’ an onlooker told People.

‘(She then) pulled out her makeup kit and started reapplying her lipstick and eyeliner while looking at herself in the large mirror in front of her.’

According to the source, the actress proceeded to adjust her make-up for a reported 10 minutes before putting her T-shirt on and leaving right in the middle of the class.

A Capella Group Absolutely Crushes The Ultimate Disney Medley (Video)

I’m a total dork when it comes to really impressive singers. One night, while watching my college’s performance of “Spring Awakening,” I hysterically cried during several goosebump-inducing harmonies and solos. It was really embarrassing, mainly because it was in front of my new-ish boyfriend and all of his friends, who easily judged me for the […]

It’s pretty difficult to anticipate work life before actually graduating. After four years of printed syllabi and having all your work cut out and assigned to you, the notion of being thrust onto a blank canvas, without numbers that correspond to colors, can be extremely overwhelming. Even for those who excelled in undergrad, the habits […]
