Artist Captures Jim Carrey's Most Iconic Roles In Vivid Illustrations (Photo)

by Liz Rowley

This is a pretty crafty way to pay tribute to a masterful actor. Everyone knows Jim Carrey to be wildly versatile in terms of what he's shown on camera.

The actor is, above all, an animated performer and this little homage speaks to his greatest trait.

The series was uploaded to Reddit by user "SaltySteveD87," otherwise known as Steve D.

Well done, Steve; your block-print skills and careful use of your free time are both greatly appreciated by Internet surfers today.

The images depicted here represent Carrey in roles such as "Ace Ventura: Pet Detective," "The Truman Show," "Batman Forever," "How the Grinch Stole Christmas," "Man on the Moon," "Dumb and Dumber" and more.

It's hard to pick a favorite here but, if I simply had to, I'd go with the Grinch depiction. Never has Carey come off more loathsome than as the Grinch, and never have I loved laughing at his eccentricities more.

As an irrelevant aside: a super fun drinking game while watching "The Grinch" is to drink whenever Carrey does or says something that makes you uncomfortable.

It's a game for heavy drinkers, to put it euphemistically.
