Literally Everything You Need To Know About Peter On 'The Bachelorette'

by Jamie LeeLo
ABC/George Burns

I'm in this season of The Bachelorette for one thing and one thing only: Peter. Peter Kraus is one of Rachel Linday's finalists, and is the best thing to happen to my eyeballs since Jonathan Taylor Thomas, circa 1998. What's Peter Kraus' job? What does he do for fun?

After a bittersweet farewell to Dean last week, Rachel Lindsay's final three gentlemen include Peter and his fellow contestants, Eric Bigger and Bryan Abasolo. But let's be real, Eric and Bryan WHO? Here is everything you need to know about Peter going into tonight's episode.

1. He's a physical trainer.

Obvi. Kraus is a graduate of Madison Area Technical College where he received his degree in dietetics. Also, Kraus became a certified trainer through the International Sports Sciences Association. He also has completed three Ironman races. Not a big deal. (JK, VERY BIG DEAL.)

2. He's a family man.

Based on his Instagram feed, Kraus is a totally loving and affectionate uncle to his niece and nephew, and a supportive brother. In his ABC bio, Kraus calls his brother "a rock" and "the very best father and husband." He is also close with his parents, who can often be found on his Instagram feed as well.

3. He was a model.

Thank the lord. It's only fair.

Kraus dabbled in modeling before school, and actually lived in Athens, Greece, for a period of time to pursue the industry. He is affiliated with the Chicago-based menswear line, J.TOOR and can be seen in their 2015 and early 2017 campaigns. You can also spot him in a video for the jewelry company, Lone Ones.

4. His passion for fitness developed after having an eating disorder.

While pursuing his modeling career at age 19, Kraus developed an eating disorder. According to his professional website, Worth Personal Training, Kraus "hit rock bottom" in 2007  when his health and fitness levels began to decline.

He explained,

I wanted to change my life for the better, but I wanted to do it by learning the ins and outs of nutrition, the body, and how the two worked harmoniously together. I learned a lot and I learned fast and in 2009 I began my personal training career.

5. He's wanted to be on The Bachelor since high school.

Kraus shared a hilarious throwback photo of his high school yearbook photo where you can see his future plans clearly listed. Included was the goal to "be on The Bachelor," along with becoming famous "in one way or another."

Goal achieved, Peter. Tune into ABC Mondays at 8 p.m. to see if Rachel does the right thing. *cough Peter cough*
