It looks as though Barbra Streisand may have found a star for her upcoming Gypsy remake, a project that has been in the works for several years now. According to CinemaBlend, Streisand is highly considering casting Lady Gaga as the lead character Louise.

From Joel Stein’s recent Time Magazine column on the singer:

Other than the temperature controlling and backseat driving, Barbra was a really fun, mellow driving buddy. She told me about her cousin Lowell, I told her what a mullet is, she told me she’s thinking of casting Lady Gaga as the lead in her remake of Gypsy, and I told her I was really, really cold.

Though we have not been given any more information, we’ve learned that Downton Abbey’s Julian Fellowes has reportedly been enlisted to write the script.

It’s Easy To Be Mean Behind A Screen: How Social Media Has De-Sensitized This Generation

British Vogue columnist Suzy Menkes called it the “ugly face of fashion criticism” — that is, a mostly Internet-based community’s predilection towards tearing something down, without offering much else in the way of constructive advice or sparking a meaningful conversation. While Menkes’ “bitch brigade” might have been directed at her fellow fashion snobs, the tendency to […]

The Robin Thicke Twitter Q&A Went Really Bad, Really Fast

Robin Thicke is quickly becoming the laughing stock of the music world. His lyrics are pretty misogynistic, and his desperate attempts at winning back Paula Patton are, well, desperate. I don’t know why, but someone over at VH1 thought it would be a good idea to host a Twitter Q&A with the “Blurred Lines” singer, […]
