When it comes to accuracy and authenticity, who would be better to direct a documentary about Beyoncé than, well, Beyoncé herself?

That seems to be HBO’s mentality, as Vulture is now reporting that the singer herself is set to direct and star in her own documentary for the cable network. Set for a February 16, 2013 premiere date, the documentary will combine footage of her on-stage performances with clips shot by Beyoncé herself, and focus on her “family life, including her return to the spotlight after the birth of her daughter.”

According to HBO, the documentary “sheds light on her childhood in Houston, with home movies revealing the close bond she built with her family and charts the challenges Beyoncé felt when she decided to manage her career and build her own company, Parkwood Entertainment.”

Lastly, Beyoncé will also be executive producing the film! No surprise there, clearly there’s nothing this woman cannot do!

He engulfed himself in the memories of the last four years and that euphoria associated with winning back-to-back championships, then went back to work. It was time to start rebuilding the Miami Heat. Riley had his sights set on one […]

Man Hits Samsung Battery With Hammer To See If It Will Explode. It Does (Video)

This is a video of a guy hitting a rechargeable battery with a hammer to see if it will explode. It’s not the most methodically sound experiment I’ve ever seen, but I’m thrilled to announce that my hypothesis of “It will explode” managed to come to fruition. I’m easily pleased, so I was obviously entertained […]
