Beyoncé Tells Oprah Jay-Z Is Her ‘Foundation’
Oprah has a knack for making celebrities speak candidly about themselves. Her latest victim is Beyoncé, who was grilled about everything from her husband to her miscarriage to her crazy-ass father.
Beyoncé had some interesting things to say about her relationship with husband Jay-Z. The singer went on and on about how much she loves him and what a vital part of her life he is, but this next quote isn’t something you’d expect the so-called “independent woman” to say:
“I would not be the woman I am if I did not go home to that man.”
All the women, independent, give up making a name for yourself because you’re nothing without a rich husband.
She basically just admitted that she wouldn’t be able to maintain her relevance or confident image if Jay-Z wasn’t her husband.
We’ll leave the interpretation up to you, but as far as we’re concerned, Beyoncé has revealed that if she hadn’t married Jay-Z, her time of the spotlight would have been finished already.
