Beyoncé Writes Open Letter In Praise Of President Obama
In April 2012, she wrote an open letter to Michelle Obama telling the world how proud she was of the First Lady. Now, Beyoncé has penned a touching public correspondence to Michelle’s husband, President Barack Obama, just hours before casting her vote.
The music superstar has expressed her utmost ‘respect and adoration’ for the world’s most famous leader as Americans head to the polls to cast their vote in the 2012 election.
Beyoncé, 31, has fully thrown her support behind the man she calls ‘inspiring’, after her and husband Jay-Z continued to do all they could to get Obama in office for a second term.
In the letter, which she posted on her Tumblr, she writes: ‘President Obama, Everyday we see your heart and character, inspiring all of us to give more of ourselves.
‘You are the leader to take us from where we are to where we need to be. You are the reason my daughter and nephew will grow up knowing that they can truly be ANYTHING they want to be.’
She ended the handwritten note: ‘All my respect and adoration, Beyoncé.’
Beyoncé has made no secret of her love for the Obamas and she recently hosted a fundraiser in New York for the President.
