Bedford residents Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds got married this weekend in South Carolina, according to multiple sources.

Maybe, just maybe, the “Green Lantern” co-stars liked the sound of it when a Bedford police officer mistakenly(?) referred to Lively as Reynolds’ “wife” when “The Proposal” actor filed a report with local authorities in July.
Yesterday, the couple tied the knot at Boone HIll Plantation in Mount Pleasant, S.C. — not to be confused with the Westchester County town of the same name.

For the reception, Florence Welch of Florence and the Machine performed a few songs and a DJ spun tracks, according to People. And, apparently, Bette Midler also sang for the occasion, according to E! Online.

While the Hudson Valley often serves as a celebrity refuge from the paparazzi of New York City, perhaps Lively and Reynolds ventured south for their nuptials to escape local scrutiny.

This summer, the couple has been spotted hitting the gym together in Bedford, dining at the Bedford Post Inn, and grabbing ice cream in Somers.

Publicists for Lively and Reynolds did not immediately respond to requests for comment early Monday morning.

How Bart Simpson Inspired A Generation Of Guys To Not Give A F*ck

Bart Simpson is the Plato to every young man’s Aristotle. He’s a teacher, one whose philosophies every boy became a student of, the first time we saw him pull out that slingshot, some time in the mid-90s. Whether it be his desire to rebel, the absence of a positive father figure in his life or […]

Artist Perfectly Captures Robin Williams’ Essence In Illustrations Of His Characters

An artist by the name of Carrie Winiker created some pretty amazing illustrations of Robin Williams’ most famous roles. Winiker made the stylized drawings following the late actor’s death. For some reason, each character doesn’t have a nose. Maybe that’s just the style of this particular artist? Regardless, it’s a cool way to remember some of Williams’ greatest […]

I Regret Nothing: Drunk Girl Eats Chips Off New York Train Floor (Video)

There is one thing and one thing only people like to do when they’re drunk beyond belief — no, I don’t mean having regrettable sex with friends or strangers; I’m talking about eating. Eating a pizza, eating chips, eating a sandwich, eating an entire pack of string cheese followed by french fries and grilled cheese. […]

Now THIS Is What A Party Drink Is Supposed To Look Like (Video)

In my experience, house parties normally supply some cheap beer or a mixed drink that’s just a horribly imbalanced combination of fruit punch and Smirnoff. The people in this video, though, know how to make a real party drink that extends far beyond the realms of disgusting vodka and a chaser. Starting by cutting up […]

Actor Live-Tweets An Awkward First Date Between Two People Who Met Online

If you like a very specific type of television show, you’ve probably heard of Colton Haynes. He’s a generically handsome actor who has made a name for himself on programs like “Arrow” and “Teen Wolf.” I’ll admit that before seeing this story, I had no idea who Colton Haynes was. Now, after seeing the work […]
