Blake Lively And Ryan Reynolds Get Hitched

Bedford residents Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds got married this weekend in South Carolina, according to multiple sources.

Maybe, just maybe, the “Green Lantern” co-stars liked the sound of it when a Bedford police officer mistakenly(?) referred to Lively as Reynolds’ “wife” when “The Proposal” actor filed a report with local authorities in July.
Yesterday, the couple tied the knot at Boone HIll Plantation in Mount Pleasant, S.C. — not to be confused with the Westchester County town of the same name.

For the reception, Florence Welch of Florence and the Machine performed a few songs and a DJ spun tracks, according to People. And, apparently, Bette Midler also sang for the occasion, according to E! Online.

While the Hudson Valley often serves as a celebrity refuge from the paparazzi of New York City, perhaps Lively and Reynolds ventured south for their nuptials to escape local scrutiny.

This summer, the couple has been spotted hitting the gym together in Bedford, dining at the Bedford Post Inn, and grabbing ice cream in Somers.

Publicists for Lively and Reynolds did not immediately respond to requests for comment early Monday morning.
