Unfortunately there is no such thing as an original idea in Hollywood, which is why we’ve seen so many remakes come to fruition in the last decade. Variety is currently reporting that Robert Zemeckis is working with Bravo to produce an small screen adaptation of his 1992 film, Death Becomes Her.
While there’s no writer for the project as of right now, Zemeckis has confirmed he will be on board to executive produce the project, alongside Jack Rapke and Jackie Levine.
Most members of Generation-Y probably are not too familiar with the original film , which starred Meryl Streep and Goldie Hawn as two women who refuse to age like the rest of mankind.
The two ultimately decide to drink a potion that promises to preserve their eternal youth, only to end up quite literally falling apart. Nothing lasts forever, ya bish!
