The once-upon-a-time teen idol, Britney Spears, is still struggling to get her act back together. Currently, her family is in court fighting in her behalf against her old manager Sam Lutfi. Lutfi brought charges against Britney Spears back in 2009- a year after her infamous breakdown in which she decided to shave her head.

The charges include seeking compensation for being Britney’s manager (15% of her profits during that time) as well as compensation for what Lutfi claims to be defamation found in Britney Spears’s mother’s book that claims that he isolated and drugged the pop star.

Still under a judge appointed conservatorship, Spears will not be attending the trial herself. This story may be difficult to get straight without Britney Spears’s input. While Lutfi is claiming that he was always looking out for the singer’s well-being, her parents claim that he used paparazzi as his “henchmen” and that he was key in instrumenting their daughters departure from reality.

Unfortunately, Britney herself is not allowed to step into the courtroom. How this will play out only time can tell. Hopefully once all the legal issues are resolved, the family will be able to spend their energy where it matters most- in helping their daughter get better.

This commercial for Budweiser, however, is changing the game in the best way possible. Instead of promoting beer, the commercial aims to promote responsible drinking. It features a man […]

This 2-Year-Old Choreographer Has More Swag Than You Ever Will (Video)

If there’s one thing children have over adults, it’s that they genuinely don’t give a sh*t if they look silly or ridiculous. Adults often spend way too much time worrying about what other people think. That carefree nature is what makes them so damn charming. Take this tot, for instance. A 2-year-old dancer named Zaya […]

The year was 1875 and ice-skating was the best way to get through the winter in Farmington, Maine. The young people of Farmington would light up at the sight of a frozen lake after snowfall. Keep in mind that this was a significant time before the creation of tablets and smartphones. Simply put, all these […]

10 Crucial Ways To Survive College, As Told By A Recovering Alcoholic

It took me nine years to graduate from college. When I finally did graduate, the only people invited to my party were 13 strippers and a bartender. The cocaine, alcohol and weed were funded by money I swindled from my grandfather’s inheritance. During the many years it took me to graduate, I attended nine rehab […]
