You ever hear the one about Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake squaring off in an epic 90-minute dance-off at a club in Los Angeles?

Yeah.

As the story goes, in 2002, Britney Spears reportedly went up to Justin Timberlake inside a crowded Los Angeles club just months after the pair stopped dating.

According to an Us Weekly report, Spears went after JT after she spotted him with his new girl, Jenna Dewan.

Eventually, the pair ended up on the dance floor competing in an epic 90-minute dance-off.

Now, I'm not sure if you're aware, but there's actually an upcoming biopic on Britney Spears' life, "Britney Ever After," set to premiere on the Lifetime channel.

The movie will reportedly feature the alleged 90-minute dance-off between Britney and Justin!

In the clip, which you're about to see, actor Nathan Keyes, who plays JT, tells Natasha Bassett, who plays Britney Spears, to "get over it," which leads to the fabled dance-off.

In response, Britney, er, Bassett, says, "Let's dance."

So, you ready to watch this battle royal? Check it out!

Epic!

Unfortunately, Justin Timberlake's former *NSYNC buddy Lance Bass reportedly said the above dance-off never actually took place.

Speaking with ET, Bass said,

It just didn't happen. It's fun to think they happened, just like the Justin-Britney dance-off -- [but] it didn't happen, guys.

Wow, way to be a buzzkill, Lance Bass! Can't we dream in peace?

The Lifetime biopic will premiere Saturday, February 18, and ET chatted with Natasha Bassett about playing Britney Spears.

Speaking on what she hopes to achieve with the role, the 24-year-old said,

I really hope she watches the movie, because I think she'd really enjoy it. It's really a love letter to her and to her story, so I really hope she watches it and I just wish her all the happiness in the world.

Make sure your DVRs are set, kids!
