Bruce Jenner will officially grace the cover of Vanity Fair as a woman.

Jenner is in the midst of transitioning from male to female, and this will be his first photo shoot and interview in his new form.

The photos will be shot by none other than Annie Leibovitz.

This cover will serve as an inspiration to those who have struggled and continue to struggle with gender identity issues.

Jenner has been on numerous magazine covers before but never as a female.

There's no definitive word on when the Jenner issue of Vanity Fair will be released, but it is slated to come out this summer.

Jenner will be documenting his journey into womanhood in an eight-part series that will air on E! in July.
