His divorce from reality TV star Evelyn Lozada was finalized on Wednesday, a little more than a month after his arrest on a domestic battery charge. And now NFL star Chad ‘Ochocino’ has revealed he has enrolled in anger management classes following the alleged head butting incident with Lozada.

‘I’m trying to find out how can I channel my anger when I’m in situations to where I would pop off,’ Johnson says in an interview with Showtime’s Inside The NFL which airs on Wednesday night.

‘How can I diffuse those situations, trigger points? Right now I need to work on Chad.

Sporting a three-piece suit and speaking candidly in the interview, Johnson says he takes full responsibility for the altercation which resulted in his arrest on August 11 on a domestic violence charge.

Lozada was treated for a laceration to her forehead, police captain Dale Engle claimed at the time.

‘I had an altercation with my wife,’ says Johnson. ‘I take full responsibility for it. I apologize for it. I’m human and I made a mistake.’

Johnson also says he believes the Miami Dolphins team cut him from the team solely based on the domestic incident, rather than his performances on the field.

‘That was the reason,’ he says. ‘There’s no need to blow smoke up my a**.

He adds: ‘First off, I lost two things that I love. Football. I love that. Being married, being a husband, being a lover was an honor and I lost that. They have that saying: You never know what you have until it’s gone and that’s gone and now I finally know what they mean.

‘I lost two of the things that really meant the most to me. That someone completed my world, completed me, period. But I just hadn’t made that transition to where I needed to be the best man that I could, or best husband that I could. I didn’t make it all the way, fully.’

Johnson also reveals he is no longer on speaking terms with Basketball Wives star Lozada.

Sassy Harry: All The Times Harry Potter Was Kind Of A D*ck

OK, maybe not an asshole, […]

Why You Should Follow Your Dreams, Not A Man Who Doesn’t Support Them

Coming from a generation built on fairytales and false expectations, it’s not surprising that many of the women of my generation can, at times, be slightly misguided when it comes to life and its timeline. Too many of us have built up this usually false illusion that life works out in a simple progression: school, […]

This Uplifting Bathroom Stall Graffiti Is A Serious Break From The Norm (Photo)

Normally, graffiti involves the defacing of public property for aggressive or artistic purposes, depending on your perspective. This graffiti written on the walls of bathroom stalls is certainly not your typical graffiti, since its inspirational messages about loving yourself contrast greatly with street gangs tagging brick walls. “Stay strong. It will get better,” and “Always […]
