Charlie Sheen seems to have a nice side after all! Sheen announced that he plans to donate money to the USO, a troop morale-boosting organization.

Sheen’s donation is believed to be the largest single donation to the organization. He said that he is ready to give $1 million.

Sheen revealed that he will donate 1 percent of profits from his new sitcom, Anger Management, to the group. He will give a minimum of $1 million, with no cap on the final amount.

The actor’s donation to the USO’s Operation Enduring Care campaign will be used to build an entertainment facility for injured troops in Bethesda, Md.

“It’s an honor for me to be able to give back to these men and women of the military who have done so much for all of us,” Sheen said in a statement.

They put their lives on the line for us every day, and I’m just happy that my work on ‘Anger Management’ can bring a little bit of relief to the troops and their families.

He will give the USO a first installment of $250,000 later this week.

13 Halloween Costumes Your Coworkers Will Be Fired For In 2014

It happens every year. Each Halloween, someone’s quirky sense of humor finds its way into his or her costume, and the “clever idea” offends literally everyone. Remember the lady who had her sons dress as George Zimmerman and Trayvon Martin, or the woman who went as a Boston Marathon bombing victim? These folks risk igniting the ire of […]

Why This Generation Needs To Cease Valuing Materialism Over Individuality

Why are we taught that having the most “things” will yield the most happiness? Obviously, this isn’t true, as many fortunate people are severely unhappy. But, why is this? Why do we place such a high value on items? I mean, ultimately, they’re just objects, after all. Many American families are in competition with each another for […]

4 Things I Learned In The 4 Years I’ve Been Single

It is human instinct to love and to want to be loved. A long time ago, I fell in love for the first time in my life; it was incredible. It was euphoric. I felt safe, content and I was in a world of my own where no one and no single thing even mattered. […]
