Police Chief In Chris Brown Probation Scandal Resigns
The police chief involved in certifying Chris Brown’s alleged community service — which the L.A. County D.A. claims was never performed — has unexpectedly resigned.
Bryan Norwood, Chief of the PD in Richmond, Virginia, was instrumental in removing Brown’s case from the Richmond Probation Dept. and placing it solely in his hands.
Norwood wrote a letter to the court vouching for Brown, stating that the troubled singer had completed all of his required community service.
There has been speculation for several weeks that the Chief may have resigned to get a similar job in Raleigh…but word on the street in Richmond is that the Brown scandal sped up his decision!
The Mayor of Richmond says his office and Bryan Norwood reached a “mutual agreement” for his resignation.
