Disney Hires Jesse Wigutow As Writer For “Tron 3″

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Disney has hired Jesse Wigutow (It Runs in the Family) to write and develop the script for the third installment of Tron, which will again be directed by Joseph Kosinski.

Though Legacy was heavily criticized, the movie was successful enough at the worldwide box office that Disney is confident that it can turn it into a long-running property.

It has yet to be revealed if Wigutow will be working from David DiGilio’s previous Tron 3 script, or starting from scratch, but Kosinski has hinted that this movie will be a direct continuation of Legacy.
