This Theory About Drake And JLo's New Relationship Is Wild Enough To Be True

Drake and Jennifer Lopez's relationship might just be a publicity stunt because everything in Hollywood is fake, apparently.

According to a report from Page Six, a "showbiz insider" told the publication Drake and JLo's recent PDA is all just a plot to promote an upcoming collab album.

The source told Page Six,

This relationship is fake, it is just a publicity stunt to publicize their record together. If Jennifer and Drake were really dating, they'd be way more private about it.

The two singers definitely have not been private about this maybe-fake relationship so far.

Last week, Drake posted a super pointed Insta of them cuddling.

Then they were filmed literally making out at the prom.

(OK, it was a prom-themed party, but still.)

Like any respectable high school dance, there was also a healthy amount of grinding.

But there was also a song playing in the background of that party that sounded like a new JLo and Drake collab.

So yes, Drake and JLo are being super extra about this whole thing, and it does appear they have a song coming out together.

And after that whole Taylor Swift/Tom Hiddleston debacle, it's hard to know what to believe these days.

All and in all, it does seem pretty likely this whole thing is just another celebrity publicity stunt.

But I want to protest the logic that were Drake and JLo truly, actually dating, they would be "private" about it.

Y'all. This is Drake. This is JLo.

They are not exactly the low-key, private type.

Look at this picture of Drake. This is the picture of a man who is extra AF.

I'm just saying, I still kind of think Drake is just trying to make Rihanna jealous with this whole JLo thing. (Which is a terrible idea, but when has Drake had good ideas?)

And as for JLo — well, she's JLo. She does whatever and whomever she wants.
