Drew Barrymore has spoken of her love for baby daughter Olive while introducing the little girl to the world. The 37-year-old actress is seen cuddling Olive, her first child with her art consultant husband Will Kopelman, beaming with proud delight as she looks into her daughter’s eyes.

And in an accompanying interview with America’s People magazine, Drew said she was not prepared for how much her life would change once she had a baby.

She said: ‘I couldn’t eat or sleep for two weeks, I was just so nervous! You have the highest highs and yet you’re facing the biggest fear of, “How do I keep someone alive?” ‘

But with the help of Will, Drew was able to provide a loving and nurturing home for her baby to be brought into.

She added: ‘I really wanted a wonderful traditional home for my kid. Will comes from a strong family, he provides a strong family … It just makes me so emotional because it’s like a miracle.’
