Emeli Sandé To Marry Adam Gouraguine This Weekend In Montenegro
Emeli Sandé is to marry her long-term partner Adam Gouraguine this weekend. She posted on Twitter today (Friday) saying ‘Thank you for last night Kotor!’ leading to speculation that the ceremony will be in her fiance’s home country of Montenegro in south-eastern Europe.
Emeli and her 24-year-old marine biologist have been dating for seven years since they met in Aberdeen.
The 25-year-old admitted that she was engaged in January after she was spotted wearing a ring during an appearance on the Graham Norton Show.
Despite Emeli’s career thrusting her into the public eye the couple have so far managed to keep their relationship relatively private. Adam is one of her biggest fans, attending almost every one of her concerts.

Emeli’s debut album Our Version of Events hit the number one spot in the UK Album Charts.
After penning hits for the likes of Cheryl Cole and Alicia Keyes and collaborating with Tinie Tempah, Emeli emerged as an artist in her own right with her debut solo single Heaven.
Her father Joel confirmed via a social networking site last night that he was heading off on a four-hour flight to give away his daughter’s hand in marriage.
Joel Sandi, a teacher at Alford Academy in Aberdeenshire, added in a newspaper interview: ‘Here’s hoping everything goes to plan.
An instant hit, the song shot to number two in the charts and catapulted the down-to-earth star to overnight fame. Emeli followed up the success by achieving her first number one in the charts, with her collaboration with Professor Green on Read All About It. She’s also had success with other tracks including Daddy and Next To Me.
Other highlights from the her amazing year have included performing at the Olympics opening and closing ceremonies, and touring with Coldplay.
