Emma Stone Took Jennifer Lawrence On A Date, So Single Life Isn't So 'Sad'

Who the heck needs a boyfriend when you can take Jennifer Lawrence on a date instead?

Psh, certainly not Emma Stone.

The newly-single "La La Land" actress decided to ditch the dudes and take J Law to a private screening of her upcoming movie on Tuesday night.

According to ET, the accomplished actresses posed together at the screening and after-party, which took place at the Rainbow Room in NYC.

Needless to say, I'd do just about anything to be a third wheel on this one.

Slay, ladies, SLAY.

After Emma's recent breakup with Andrew Garfield, she admitted to Vogue she was undoubtedly sad, saying he's someone she still loves "very much."

How can we blame her? She's only human!

Thank goodness Jennifer has her back, though. She was probably a better date than Garfield would've been anyway.

Am I right, or am I right?!

Apparently, the ladies are two peas in a pod, and Lawrence has only had good things to say about her in the past.

In an interview with Glamour from January, she spoke about her relationship with the "La La Land" actress, saying,

I love Emma. She cracks me up; she's so 'theater.' She's so adorable.

UGH. I want to hang out with them! Emma, why didn't you give me a call?!

But really, I would've loved to see a private screening of the star's upcoming film.

"La La Land" looks pretty damn amazing, and I can hardly wait until it hits theaters in December.

As much as I would love to see this romantic flick with a dude (maybe I'll have a boyfriend by then -- pray for me), I would never pass up the opportunity to take a celeb like Jennifer Lawrence along.

Emma, you made the right choice. You guys are friendship #GOALS, and we wish you luck with your new and exciting single-lady endeavors.
