Giesele Bündchen and Tom Brady’s ex-bodyguards have been sentenced to time in jail for attempted murder.

According to US Magazine, “Miguel Solis and Alexander Rivas were found guilty of attempted murder in Costa Rica after firing shots at photographers trying to sneak some shots of the power couple’s nuptials, multiple outlets are reporting.

The third man charged with the incident was acquitted when the verdict was rendered on Nov. 15. Solis and Rivas will each face five years in jail and have been ordered to pay $10,000 each in restitution to the photographers.”

Evidently, Bündchen was completely oblivious to the fact that shots were even fired during her wedding reception. The power couple is still going strong and is one of the world’s top earning duos, as well as the best looking… okay maybe I just made the latter up, but come on — you know it’s true.

Stop Worrying About ‘The Amanda Show’ — Leave Bynes (And Her Recent DUI) Alone

For many, Amanda Bynes was a first introduction to comedy. She burst onto the scene with her sketch-stealing performances on Nickelodeon’s version of “SNL,” “All That.” She was shockingly young, uncommonly composed and crazy talented. In one of her recurring sketches, she was Ashley, a child version of “Dear Abby,” who hilariously snapped from sweet […]

People In London Actually Signed Away First-Born Children For Free WiFi

A British experiment has exposed how uninformed some people are when they agree to the terms and conditions of online services. The Guardian reports that a team of security researchers set up a mobile WiFi hotspot in two busy London districts last June in an experiment organized by Finnish security firm F-Secure and European law […]

Why We Need To Get Over One-Night Stands In Order To Get In Touch With Our Sexuality

Let’s talk about sex. More specifically, let’s talk about sexuality. I’ve noticed that despite all of the interest in the current hook-up culture, we don’t seem to have an open conversation about the effects it may have on sexuality as a whole. Naturally, I find this to be an interesting contradiction. While we focus so much on the […]

Why The New Black Keys Music Video Might Be Some Of Their Best Work Yet

I won’t lie: The Black Keys’ new song, “The Weight of Love,” and its corresponding short-film video, directed by Theo Wenner, mesmerizes. The seven-minute song is moody and bluesy with psychedelic undertones, and it’s the opener on their new album, Turn Blue. The video captures a tribe of women on a deserted lighthouse island, peacefully leading […]

The Commissioner Has Spoken: The NHL Isn’t Expanding Anywhere

According to NHL commissioner Gary Bettman, there are absolutely no plans of expansion, or sale of a current franchise, to relocate to a new city. This, of course, contradicts recent reports suggesting the NHL is thinking about extending new teams into new markets: Las Vegas, Seattle and Quebec City, as well as a second franchise […]
