Golden Globes Winners: Complete 2013 Awards Results

Last night was one of the biggest nights of the year for actors and film makers; the Golden Globes. Often times the results of the Golden Globes foreshadow those of the upcoming Academy Awards, however this year may be a bit different.

One of the biggest stories of the night is the sweep made by director Ben Affleck and his film Argo –  winning Best Picture (Drama) and Best Director.Oddly enough, Affleck was not even nominated to win an oscar for Best Director! As disappointing as it may seem, Argo will more than likely take home Best Picture at the Academy Awards as well.

The other two big winners last night were Les Miserables — winning three awards: Best Picture- Musical, Best Actor for Musical, and Best Supporting Actress– as well as Django Unchained–  winning two awards: Best Supporting Actor and Best Screenplay. Both of these films should fair well at the Academy Awards as well!
