Gucci Mane Loses 240k Diamond Battle
Unfortunately for Gucci Mane, his fling with bling was illegal. The rapper was sued by a Georgia jewelry company and forced to pay $270,000 after he stole diamonds from the company.
A&A Diamonds went to attorney Vivian Uchitel to file a lawsuit against the rapper. The lawsuit was filed in Henry County and claimed that the company loaned the rapper a $130,000 diamond pinky ring, a diamond necklace, and a $110,000 bracelet.
According to the lawsuit, Gucci Mane had 15 days to either pay for the bling or return it, but he kept the jewelry and only paid $40,000.
A&A sued for a total of $274,523.34 – $200,000 for the jewelry and the rest for interest and attorneys’ fees.
Gucci Mane was a no-show at court, so default judgement was placed in April. Additionally, a lien was placed on the rapper’s property.
Gucci still hasn’t responded to the action.
