Gwyneth Paltrow Tweets N Word At Jay-Z Concert

Gwyneth Paltrow, who normally maintains a squeaky clean reputation, had her rep tarnished when she tweeted about a Jay-Z concert.

This weekend, the actress, who has a close relationship with Jay-Z and Beyonce, was invited on stage in France to join Jay-Z and Kanye West for an encore performance of “Niggas in Paris.”

But when The Dream snapped a picture of Paltrow, she replied with something that caused quite a backlash from fans. Paltrow tweeted: “Niggas in paris for real.” When fans were outraged at her use of the N-word, Paltrow tweeted on Sunday: ”Hold up. It’s the title of the song!”

Even with her explanation, some fans remained pissed off.

“Lets be very clear she called a group of black men that have nothing to do with the song ‘Ni**as’. Are Kanye and Jay-z in the picture? No. She is specifically calling The Dream and Ty Ty real ‘Ni**as In Paris’ in that moment,” wrote one of Gwyneth’s follwers. “There was no need for that. She’s the one that connected the two, They have nothing to do with the song.”

The Dream tried to defend Paltrow, tweeting: ”FYI, sorry for the confusion. I typed ‘N—– in Paris for real’ from Gwen’s phone, my bad. Please excuse it! We were lit.” But now the rapper is receiving criticism.

One fan accused him of rushing in to “save that white princess.”

‘Forrest Gump’ As Directed By Wes Anderson Is Perfect (Video)

Wes Anderson, he’s so hot right now. It seems the new wave of parodies for the time being is everything Wes Anderson (don’t worry, “Frozen” parodies aren’t going anywhere). We saw the “Zoolander” scene a few days ago inspired by Anderson, and a few weeks before that we saw a beautiful compilation of his symmetry. Now, […]

Singularity At The Cinema: ‘Transcendence,’ ‘Her’ And Fighting Against The Future

“Transcendence” isn’t a very good movie. It has the setup to be a thought-provoking, sci-fi, action flick, without any real action or thought of which to speak. It’s essentially the last 20 minutes of “Her,” spread glacially over a two-hour-and-twenty-minute run time. The biggest problem with “Transcendence,” however, is that it foregrounds and obsesses over its technology at the […]
