As any stylish female knows, your styling is the most integral aspect of your look. Anyone can throw on a ball gown, but unless it’s styled properly, you’re out of luck when it comes to winning any “best dressed” awards.

Hair, makeup and accessories are the most important focuses when it comes to putting looks together, and these five following stars had the most radiant hair and makeup looks of the 2013 SAG Awards.

Amanda Seyfried

What’s not to love? Perfect side swept tendrils and natural makeup complimented the deep blue of this Zac Posen gown perfectly.

Claire Danes

What I love about this look is that Claire was the only celeb to tackle the deep red (burgundy even) lip look that was ever so popular in the 90s.

Marion Cotillard

Marion focused on playing up her features rather than covering them up, and her asymmetrical bob is just too chic.

Michelle Dockery

The 1920’s inspired hair and makeup complimented this vintage gown perfectly.

Kerry Washington

Although her dress was not one of my favorites, Kerry Washington mastered the smokey eye, making sure to not overdo it by leaving her lips bare and natural.

Which one of these beauty looks was your favorite?

Cancel Your Netflix Date: Those Who Binge-Watch Together Don’t Stay Together

You might think that binge-watching shows on Netflix with your significant other is a good idea. You spend a relaxing night in your apartment with your hubby, drinking wine, eating Chinese food and watching five straight hours of Frank Underwood plot and scheme to take over Washington. It sounds lovely. But you might want to […]

Ladies, Perfection Is A Myth — And It’s Not What Men Want

Who is the ideal woman? She’s a pristinely groomed, doe-eyed fox with unrelenting class illuminating through her faultless exterior and mile-long legs. She bakes crisp apple pie and sings mellifluous tunes as she lathers her silky, frizz-resistant locks in her post-pilates shower. During the day, she’ll make your parents swoon with gratitude and pride, but […]
