Just one day after former NFL tight end Jerramy Stevens was arrested on suspicion of assaulting Hope Solo, the two exchanged vows and are now officially a married couple.

Stevens was arrested early Monday morning in connection with a domestic assault against Hope Solo at a Kirkland, Washington home.

On Tuesday  Solo denied she was attacked by Stevens, and as a result he was immediately released by a Kirkland Municipal Court judge. Though there was no evidence he actually had assaulted her, the Police have stated they are still investigating the case. If they are to come across new evidence,  the former Seattle Seahawks could be charged!

Meanwhile, the ‘happy couple’ went along with their wedding plans, saying “I do” later in the day, according to Sportsradio 950 AM and 102.9′s Dave Mahler, who tweeted “Events of yesterday morning didn’t change plans.”

The former Dancing with the Stars contestant and the 33-year-old footballer had only dated for a just two months before applying for a marriage license November 8.

Jillian Loydon, Solo’s teammate also tweeted about the nuptials, “Happy to witness such an amazing celebration of real love #selflesslove #fewandfarbetween,” she wrote.
