‘Hunger Games' Actress Perfectly Breaks Down Cultural Appropriation (Video)

You may remember Amandla Stenberg as the actress who played Rue in “The Hunger Games.” Stenberg is now 16 years old and is speaking out about the improper appropriation of black culture.

In a recent YouTube video, Stenberg spoke about what essentially boils down to the theft of black culture in America by the privileged.

Stenberg makes some excellent points about the state of black culture in America today, so be sure to watch her exegesis above.
