Jared Leto Cut Off His Long Hair And Beard For Upcoming 'Joker' Role

Most people seem to have been fans of Jared Leto's "Jesus" look. Of late, Leto had been sporting long hair and an impressive beard.

But that all changed yesterday, when Leto snipped his luscious locks and shaved his full beard.

Leto got rid of his hair for his new role as The Joker in the David Ayers-directed "Suicide Squad."

Leto has some pretty big shoes to fill as the last man to play the role was Heath Ledger, and he won an Academy Award for his performance.

I'm interested to see the direction in which Leto takes the character.

There's not a lot to go on at this point in time, but at least we know this iteration of The Joker will not look like a hairy hippie.
