Jay-Z Rides The Subway, Adorably Explains Who He Is To An Old Lady
Entertainment

Probably the softest side of Hov we will ever see. As Jay-Z rode the subway to his last performance, he sat down next to an older woman and had a conversation I’m not sure he thought would go like it did.

The woman asked if Jay-Z was famous and he said “yes, but not that famous if you don’t know who I am.” Pretty humble and laid back answer. Most people know Jay-Z for his charisma and flamboyancy, but he was very smooth and kind hearted in this exchange.

Near the end of the conversation the woman asked Hov what his name was so she could remember it and he replied, “Jay, Jay-Z.” With a laugh the woman goes, “I know Jay-Z,” as they both chuckle.
