JK Rowling Reveals Her Favorite Moment From 'Harry Potter'

Did someone just cast Avada Kedavra? Because this news is killing me... you know, in a good way and not in the Voldemort sense.

When two geniuses show their mutual love for each other, it's a beautiful moment.

Speaking of beautiful moments, Lin-Manuel Miranda took to Twitter to list off the "POP CULTURE EVENTS FROM WHICH I HAVE STILL NOT RECOVERED, MANY YEARS LATER," and one of those events was a moment from "The Half-Blood Prince."

Merlin's Beard, I just got chills thinking about Harry Potter and Dumbledore trying to get one of Voldemort's horcruxes in that seaside cave.

It's at that moment we realize that Harry is finally an adult and that Dumbledore looks up to Harry as much as Harry looks up to Dumbledore.

It's kinda like how Lin-Manuel looks up to JK Rowling the same way JK looks up to Lin-Manuel. It makes sense -- they're both wizards with words, the most inexhaustible form of magic.

Well, Lin-Manuel Miranda tweeted this at JK and unlike my thousands of unanswered tweets asking her to be my date to the Yule Ball, Lin-Manuel's tweet got a reply.

Look, I know there have about a million parodies of "Hamilton" and there are probably a few Harry Potter-themed ones collecting dust on the internet right about now, but listen, Lin-Manuel...

YOU NEED TO MAKE A RAP-CENTRIC MUSICAL OF THE "HARRY POTTER" SERIES.

Imagine Snape coming out, saying,

How does a baby, orphan son of Potter and a Mudblood, dropped in the middle of a forgotten cupboard under the stairs by Petunia, impoverished, in squalor grow up to be a hero and an auror?

Huh? What do you think?

Really? You didn't like that?

Oh well...

I think the take-away here is that Lin-Manuel loves the under-appreciated "Half-Blood Prince" as much as I do.

In my opinion, it's the best of the entire "Harry Potter" series.
