Norwegian girls have a serious case of Bieber fever. Justin Bieber held a concert in Oslo, Norway that ended in several trips to the emergency room – 14 trips to be exact.

Oslo’s mayer launched an investigation to explore what happened at Bieber’s concert yesterday, where 49 teenage girls were injured and 14 were taken to the hospital in ambulances.

Mayor Fabian Stang assured us that no one was seriously injured, but he still ”called on the Emergency Planning Agency to examine the entire event from the planning stage to its implementation. [They] have to find out what went wrong and why it happened.”

TMZ broke the story, telling how the Oslo police almost declared a state of emergency. Tens of thousands of teenage fans mobbed the city. Mayor Stang said that he needed to hide behind a tree at one point to stay out of the fans’ path.

Some people even tried to use inflatable rafts to reach the stage.

After the concert, Bieber made a hasty escape on a police boat.
