Justin Bieber has landed himself in trouble again and this time, the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department is involved.

According to ET, the singer is currently being investigated for an incident that occurred at a restaurant in LA.

The police department said,

There is an open investigation where someone inside the establishment called and said that something happened with him [Bieber] outside.

Authorities are still trying to figure out just what exactly happened -- they don't even know if the Biebs was part of the battery case and have yet to speak with the "Sorry" singer.

According to TMZ, Bieber allegedly headbutted a man at a pre-Grammy party last weekend at Serafina restaurant.

Of course, that weekend may have been a sore spot for Bieber. He opted out of attending the Grammys, despite being nominated for Album of the Year for "Purpose," and his ex girlfriend Selena Gomez's new beau The Weeknd was performing.

Bieber took to Instagram Live the same night as the award show to throw shade at the other singer.

TMZ reports that Bieber was "play fighting" with Kyle Massey (of "That's So Raven" and "Corey in the House") when he realized someone was filming him at 2 am on Saturday.

Bieber was annoyed the person refused to delete the video and then, he allegedly headbutted the man. Police were called and Bieber left before they arrived.

Caroline McBride, director of public relations for Serafina Restaurant Group, said,

We know very little about the alleged incident at Serafina Sunset with Justin Bieber, but we can assure you that nobody from our staff was involved, nor did we call the police. We always have pleasant experiences with Mr. Bieber whenever he comes to Serafina.

Basically, Serafina was like, "We didn't rat you out so please come back and spend money here."

The victim doesn't want to press charges, but the misdemeanor battery investigation is ongoing.
