Flying back from Brazil to LA, Kanye West and Kim Kardashian ran into a bit of trouble during their connection at JFK. After landing from Rio, the celebrity couple passed through customs and then were escorted by an American Airlines’ employee to their next flight, bypassing security checkpoints entirely.

The TSA quickly realized the security breach and had no choice but to force Kanye and Kim off the plane and onto a private area of the jetway where they were screened privately.

“An airline employee escorted the two travelers through a non-public area in order to provide expedited access to their domestic flight,” a TSA spokesman said.

“In doing so, the airline employee violated security protocols by permitting the travelers to bypass the TSA security checkpoint. TSA officials learned of the violation and conducted a private screening of the two passengers in the area of the jetway. The passengers were cleared to board their flight.”

The plane was delayed for about an hour before the couple were able to once again board and take off the runway.

Marijuana has long occupied an uneasy place in American society. While largely illegal, it’s been the theme for various comedic movies, and with 38 percent admitting to trying it, it’s not exactly taboo. Recently, however, marijuana is enjoying a growing acceptance and has many people — especially the government – seeing green in more ways […]

The Importance Of Communication When It Comes To Mental Illness

According to the National Institute for Mental Health, about 26.2 percent of American adults — that’s roughly one in four — suffer from a diagnosable mental illness in a given year. That adds up to roughly 58 million people above the age of 18. As someone who is currently undergoing the lengthy process of diagnoses/medication/re-diagnosis/new medication/rinse, lather, repeat, I’d […]

Tiny Puppy Bravely Protects Its Food From Big Dog (Video)

I know the title says differently, but I don’t feel comfortable siding with the puppy or the bigger dog because I don’t have any background information as to what’s going on here. I’m led to believe that the puppy is protecting his food from the bigger dog, but something about that explanation just doesn’t sit […]
