Katy Perry And Orlando Bloom Spread Holiday Cheer As Santa And Mrs. Claus

It's finally the week before Christmas, and Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom just showed us allwhat the holidays are really about.

One of Hollywood's hottest couples recently dressed up as Santa and Mrs. Claus -- I'll let you guess who dressed up as who -- and surprised sick kids at Children's Hospital Los Angeles.

During the holidays, it doesn't take much to lift the spirits of kids in need, just a Santa costume and a smile. Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom provided both, and it was clearly much appreciated.

In addition to dressing up as Santa and Mrs. Claus and taking pictures with the kids at Children's Hospital Los Angeles, Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom reportedly sang Christmas carols to really get everyone into the festive mood.

You can donate all the money in the world and buy the fanciest gifts available, but the real way to show someone you care is by simply making the effort and spending time with them.

I really can't stress enough how awesome it is Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom took some time from their hectic schedules to give back to the community.

Apparently, this isn't a once-a-year thing, either.

Perry and Bloom reportedly work with various organizations and charities to give back. In November, 32-year-old Perry was honored by UNICEF for all the work she does.

Perry recently spoke to ET about how she and her boyfriend constantly motivate each other to help those in need.She said,

Well he was a previous award recipient last year, so he knows it better than I. And he's been a UNICEF ambassador for over 10 years and I've only been a few years, so he's kind of shown me some of the ropes.

Perry continued,

You could so easily just live in a bubble and be self-absorbed and make sure that it's just you, you, you. I have so much shine and spotlight, so it's nice to take that spotlight and move it to a need that needs it more.
