Kendall Jenner Revealing Her Fear Of Adulting Is So Relatable It Hurts
You’re not the only one who cringes at the thought of adulthood — Kendall Jenner does, too.
The 20-year-old model lives a superstar lifestyle that many of us envy, but at the end of the day, she’s just like us.
Kendall Jenner took to her official blog to discuss her thoughts on aging and taking on more responsibility as we enter our adult lives.
In a post titled “My Thoughts On Getting Older,” Kendall reveals,
When I turned 20, I was scared, as crazy as that sounds. I just didn’t feel ready to be out of my teens, yet — I didn’t want to be in my twenties.
I’m sure we can all relate to that. I know I can!
When we’re young, we’re constantly wishing we were older so we can have our freedom and make our own decisions without anyone else’s oversight.
Once we’re finally old enough to be considered adults, we immediately wish we were oblivious toddlers again.
In other words, adulthood is an uphill battle NONE of us can win (unless you can afford Emily Blunt’s $6.5 million house).
I feel like your twenties are when you actually have to grow up and be an adult, which is scary!
Yep, it certainly is! I’d imagine that tackling your adult life is ten times more blissful when you’re a staple of the Kardashian-Jenner squad, though.
Alright, fine, maybe Kendall is still dealing with all of the gut-wrenching troubles that come along with adulting despite being, well, Kendall Jenner. After all, she DID freak out when she discovered her first grey hair on Snapchat.
I think it’s safe to say Kendall Jenner is just as scared of adulthood as we all are. So, what about Kylie? She just turned 19 and I can’t help but wonder how she feels about aging.
In this 30-second clip from Kylie Jenner’s website, the 19-year-old reality star and lip kit mogul speaks about what it’s like to enter a new year of life. She shared,
I feel like this year is really about…, like, the year of just realizing stuff. And everyone around me, we’re all just like realizing things.
Um, yeah, she actually said that.
Don’t worry Kylie, I completely understand what you were trying to say. Getting older is really complicated and “realizing things” is a HUGE part of aging into adult life.
Realizing that you have to pay a zillion utility bills, realizing that you’re getting too old to binge-watch your favorite Netflix shows until 3am on a weeknight — you know, things like that.
On the bright side, Kylie still has a full year to go before she reaches Kendall Jenner’s age of realizing things.
