She declared herself ‘happy to be here,’ but Kirstie Alley was so excited at being on the first Dancing with the Stars all-star season, she ended up kissing the program’s host on Monday night.

After an energetic foxtrot with partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy, the 61-year-old actress decided to plant a long kiss on Tom Bergeron following his Emmy win.

‘That’s for your Emmy,’ she told Tom, who looked rather speechless at the gesture, although soon recovered to pretend to smoke a cigarette.

Earlier, she had spoken about her joy at being reunited with Maksim, her partner for season 12 of the hit show and the pair ended up sharing a kiss at the end of their foxtrot.

‘I’m ecstatic to have Maks as my partner,’ she said. ‘Maks and I have developed a great friendship. I know I’m a better dancer than I was the first time. How much better? We’ll find out.’

But her foxtrot got mixed reviews from the judges, with Len Goodman telling her: ‘Your dance needed refining.’

Judge Carrie Ann Inaba was more positive about the former Cheers star: ‘You have the most beautiful, sensual quality when you dance,’ she said. ‘You tell the story with your whole body.’

Kirstie vowed to improve after getting a score of 19 from the judges, saying: ‘You have to be crazy to come back. ‘I’m so happy to be here. I never thought I’d get to do this again.’

‘Forrest Gump’ As Directed By Wes Anderson Is Perfect (Video)

Wes Anderson, he’s so hot right now. It seems the new wave of parodies for the time being is everything Wes Anderson (don’t worry, “Frozen” parodies aren’t going anywhere). We saw the “Zoolander” scene a few days ago inspired by Anderson, and a few weeks before that we saw a beautiful compilation of his symmetry. Now, […]

Singularity At The Cinema: ‘Transcendence,’ ‘Her’ And Fighting Against The Future

“Transcendence” isn’t a very good movie. It has the setup to be a thought-provoking, sci-fi, action flick, without any real action or thought of which to speak. It’s essentially the last 20 minutes of “Her,” spread glacially over a two-hour-and-twenty-minute run time. The biggest problem with “Transcendence,” however, is that it foregrounds and obsesses over its technology at the […]

This Cat Just Can’t Get Enough Of His Reflection In The Mirror (Video)

This cat is so vain that he probably thinks Carly Simon wrote a song about him. I’ll actually try and be objective for once — if this is Rigby’s first time discovering a reflective surface, then I’ll give him a pass. Mirrors are fascinating things. However, if I’ve learned one thing in my life, it’s […]
